nope non at all, the only way fuel will damage an engine is if you used unleaded in an engine thats not designed to take it, or if you use low ron fuel in an engine not setup for it and rag the tits off it ignoring the horrible pinking noise  :grin:

Optimax / V Power is what i use, however i've just stuck £20 of Tescos 99 ron in so will see how that goes. :smiley:

 :embarassed: oops that might mean i need to do all the bloody timing again then...the previous geezer adjusted all the timing and there certainly aint no pinking...

Re-adjustment might mean better performance and mileage then?!?  Nice one!

Good luck with the mk2 fella and let us know how ya go on...any timing tool tips?  Mine also has been WUR modded apparently...altho i believe this aint always a good thing
