Must say i am very very impressed....so much that a 3.6 wont fit under the bonnet

That looks like an awful lot of fun  600 bhp in a 4wheel drive golf, that's what dreams are made of!! I wonder how much it cost them to do all that

HPA do a 575bhp twin turbo conversion (fully fitted) in the USA for the equivalent of £15k

So you can have a 200mph car that does 0-60 in 3.5secs (same as an Enzo) for a total outlay of £35k-£40k.
It will also have 4WD like a Lambo. For a further outlay you can have it with DSG - have that uprated to take the power too and you will have a transmission like the Veyron. Uprate the brakes to the Audi ceramic ones for £5k and your done

Total outlay £50-55k for a VW supercar

It would be good to make mince meat out of some ferraris, porsche's, lambo's etc.

I Agree...simply drive past them and just point and laugh

Yeah.. whilst the rest of the bits of your car fly off!! :embarassed:

Did you get Jeremy Clarkson's supercar shootout for Christmas R32UK?

It would be a worry!! Would you want to spend 50k on a car only to find its falling to bits because many other parts are not designed to cope with those kinds of forces.

Realistically how many times and for how long would you ever go over 155mph - which the GTI and R32 are designed to go up to anyway.

It is the speed you get up there and come down from high speeds that the car isn't designed to stand, so uprate the brakes and suspension and you should be okay in my opinion.
