Proving car value
« on: 04 December 2007, 17:52 »
Right im going through an insurance claim as someone hit me, it only needs a bumper but a new one is £280 + Spraying

How can I prove what my E reg gti 16v is worth? Its done 130K and has never been welded and doesnt need any. They dont list cars like these on Parkers!

look on the for sale section here and other forum's (its worth printing them too)  the autotrader and local press as you need to prove the car's worth as they will offer pittence!! and they will want to write it off as they will call it "just another old car" and not worth much!

Its a good idea to get an agreed valuation when you insure your vehicle. HIC do it costs about £15. you just send them 6 pics of your car
