Yep! deffinately get a GTI grille. I think it's all about the red tripe imo. :smiley:

If you get a debadged grille DEFINETLY get an eyebrow spoiler, it looks so much better.

I really dont like the quad debadged grilles - i'm guessing since they're quite rare thats a popular opinion!

I sprayed up all my bumpers with black bumper paint that cost very little from Halfords, doesnt wash off either. Although obviously you've gotta spend a bit of time masking it off etc, even better if you remove the bumpers

here's my old golf with debadged grille and eyebrow spoiler - looked ace


(I have a GTi with quad grille now, I like it a lot more- I think it varies from car to car which looks better really)

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
