Heya everyone!

This is my first Golf GTI and I'm over the moon!   :laugh:
(Previous car's being a '95 1.4 Ford Escort, '01 1.5 Nissan Almera :embarassed: and an '01 1.4 Polo - at last I have a car to be proud of!!  :smiley:)

Nice to be in a place full of people besotted with cars as much as I am.  Other (expensive) hobbies include cycling, archery and Tuba playing. 

Anyone else from Cheshire?

Welcome mate. That's rich coming from me who has only made one post to date!

We got our Black Pearl Metallic MK4 Turbo a month ago - did a 1500km run in it last week and it just cruised returning great fuel figures too - a pleasant surprise. And when it's required there is plenty of reserve on tap too!

Enjoy it mate - we waited 24 years to get ours. Coming to the other side of the world made it cheaper.
