Headlight Bulbs?

Hi,what headlight bulbs are fitted to my 98 mk3 Gti?H1 or H7 ?

theyre H7 mate, dunno why people are saying H1 !!! .i changed my headlights saturday just gone, took the old ones out, and checked the bulbs myself, H7 !!!!! the full beam ones that are in the same lamp as the sidelights are H1s .. the MAIN headlight is H7 !!!! and mines a 98 R plate too.

Done mine before and dipped and main beam where H1,s.
