just need to get the bag off and slacken the nut off the wheel and move it round! anyone know how to do it?

Not exactly but I have done this on the wifes mini. Should explain in the haynes or something similar but he key thing is to leave the battery disconnected for a good half hour before removing the bag, you don't want it going off!

mine  was way off but once the tracking was done it is fine now..
has the tracking been checked, its an easier job if not....

Get the tracking done first then adjust the wheel straight after. Disconnect the battery first though. There should be 2 torx hex head bolts behind the wheel holding the airbag on (these are supposed to be torqued up properly and replaced every time but no-one ever does). Take the airbag off from the front and take out the yellow plug from it. I think it's a 25mm nut holding the wheel on. Take that and the wheel off and put it centre. Make sure you park up with the wheels dead straight though before you do it.

This is probably down to that one side only tracking sh!te!
Get the tracking done properly by adjusting both sides of the rack at that should sort it! Well it will coz they set the steering wheel in the correct position first and lock it!

Not all places do..

Most will just drive it straight on the ramps and put the front wheels on the turntables regardless of whether the steering wheel is straight

well taken your advice, getting it sorted tomorrow for 25 quid for the tracking.

mine was 45 degrees out and the tracking resolved it 100%!!!!!

good luck!! just make sure they track it with the wheel straight and dont fob u off!!!!!  i have seen them do tracking with the wheels in a straight line and of course this wont resolve anything!!!!

mine steering wheel wasn`t straight either tracking was miles out, got the tracking sorted and the wheel is bang on now
