i have a 1991 gti and was wondering if anyone had fitted any kind of porsche steering wheel to one before.i've also seen a mk2 with porsche door handles,does anyone know if they are a straight swap.any information would be helpfull,thanks.

i believe the door handles off a 944 are a straight swap. i also think that the front seats can be fitted straight into a mk2 as they have the same subframe, but im not 100% on that

apparently certain steering wheels are a stright swap but i don't know which years match the golfs. seats are no way a straight swap. the door hadles are the same shape but the mechanism is alot different, so neither is a direct swap.
