How easy is it to take these off a gti? How are they attached or is there a trick to doing it?

riveted on, most people drill them out to remove
one guy just ripped em off apparently
people have found rust underneath

yeah just rivets... drill out with a small drill but first have a good look around them as theres being some horrors behind some on here!!
