Can't open boot

Right i bumped my boot a few weeks ago got a new one ready to go on. But the problem is i can't open it was still opening up till a few days ago. It's a mk3 golf cab so i can't get into it from the back seats. any idea of how to open it not worryed about boot as got the new one.

is it locked and you can't unlock it? 

I guess if you really don't care you could cut a big hole in it to get at the lock and take it off from the inside....
Sold the VR6... Now officially An Old Man With A Passat Estate.  At least it's a 1.8T :grin:

No it unlocks just not opening, my plan is take off the number plate and drill a hole as i think it maybe just the rod jumped off.

if you're very cunning you can pop off one of the number plate light on the drivers side and use some needle nose pliers. An easier way though would be to use an allen key to take the bottom bench off, then you can get to the one's under the backs to take them out
