hmm.. I want to get some ducting and rig up a cold air feed for the VR6 (have a Pipercross induction kit on there at the mo). Trouble I have is a fairly limited amount of room for the ducting to sit in. It's going to end up quite close to a hot engine, with belts and things attached, so will some cheap ducting stuff (like
this), get too hot and melt, or will I need to get something a bit heftier (like
this).
Either way, I think I'll need some clever routing/shrinking with cable ties to avoid the belt.
Failing that of course, I could always raid a scrappy and steal odd solid bits of intake tubing to make something that fits reasonably well but is nice and rigid...hmm.
Any thoughts?
