as i have a warning light on my car and i use a mac not pc so cant use vag com and just want to check as i had 17705 code when i had my last serviced and want to chect to see if it the same fault or something diffrent

also does any one know if the 17705 code puts the epc light on as ive sarched the posts and not shure the car seems to drive fine just a littel rought at tickover when first started oh and the cars a 2002 1.8t gti

I was looking at these aswell, but to be honest it seemed a bit cheap so i didnt bother, because iv'e bought cheap stuff before and always turns out to be crap.

Does anyone else have one of them, would they reccomend it?

And also can this turn of the "Service" Ligt that flashes when i start my car.?

im not that botherd about service light as u can reset by flowing the instructions in the oweners book i just want t check the fault codes.
and save having to pay for some one to check them. im going to get it i think unless some one recomends some thing else :smiley:
