Yes i think i know what you mean. I think i have the same problem! i have put it down to play in the gear box bearings but im not sure to be honnest!

id defo change the release bearing, its a cheap and quick fix. you never know!! good luck

ok is it a straight forward job for a non mechanic to change the release bearing or would you recommend a garage to do it?
