Had my valver for over a year now, but together with a year of problems, currently working on doing the stem seals then getting the body sorted a bit. Its my first car, i'm 22 and an apprentice mechanic and always wanted one since my dads mk1.
I've had it all, cutting out, misfiring, breathing problems but the engine is now running well, the previous owner changed the block and pistons so at least half the engine is good. The smoking is intermittent and it needs a new rocker cover gasket so thought the head might as well get worked on.
