GTI Ed 30 heated front mirrors

Worked out how to do this on my old GTI the day I collected the ED30. Don't know why we couldn't just have a wee button saying "heated mirrors". I think they should give me a design job at GTI HQ.....

do the e30s come with heated mirrors standard or option?

Standard, and it is an annoying feature that they do not automatically turn off after a set time like the heated rear window.

It was like that on the MKiv, timed and controlled from the heated rear screen switch.

I agree that it is annoying that they don't automatically turn off....another niggle

we even get them here is Australia - not sure why though.... I cant remember the last time it got below 3 degrees C!!!!
