Look like scammers to me. Both adverts read like they have been partly copied/pasted from eBay. I have seen this type of advert many times recently where the listed price is alarmingly low. Bet if you contact the seller they will state that a '1' is missing from the price

Note that the seller has given a first name only and no telephone number is listed

You have been warned

Edit - I have reported both these adverts to Pistonheads Admin

yer they are scams there is one in my area middlesbrough a white one he wants £7200, yet there is another man who has same pictures etc who wants £15000 for it in same area and he left his phone number etc he also had it on ebay, and someone from london took his pics and said £7000 i think they try and get a deposit first then do a runner.

If they were from the USA then the prices could be accurate (although I know they are not, before anyone starts :lipsrsealed:)

Current rate of exchange is 2.05 dollars per pound and the list price of a brand new GTI is $22,220  or about £11,000.

So used ones in the USA would be about the price of the ones listed
