fitting a Piper Camshaft to my 8v

hi all ive been offerd a fast road can for my golf mk2 8v K-jet but does my engine have hydraulic lifters as he said it was off an 8v with hydraulic lifters and will it make much differece and what about fitting is it an easy job or is it wort replacing more parts cheers carl

does no one no if my 1.8 8v k-jet 1986 model has hydraulic cams cheers

any idea would be a massive help its an 1986 i think it is but not sure and when fitted will it sort its self out cheers or will it need setting up
