But yeah, mine are nylon as opposed to polyurethane which means they're more positive feeling and longer wearing. I've also made them a very tight fit in there, tighter than other replacement bits - I was worried at the start that they might be too tight and foul on some cars, but I'm happy to report no one's come back to say that.

grab your gearstick & lift it upwards, if there is alot of up/down movement the ball housing under the car is worn, this can add a fair bit of side to side movement as well
