not using my cabby much...
« on: 28 September 2007, 20:41 »
What should i need to know about not using my mk1 cab...???

Its not really getting much use during the week, apart from a 5 min drive to a local meet, and then possible weekend driving, but none of the above are guaranteed... odd trip to morrisons now and again too...

Doing a lot less miles so surely this can be good on my 143k engine? Is it worth starting her up and running her about once a week? Is there anything i need to do?

Just wondered...

My Rallyes not been running much for the past couple of months and my camper is always sat about doing nothing so I'd say just keep her ticking over and maybe give her a blast every couple of weeks just to keep everything moving, that's probably your best bet.
......now officially dubless.

*Ahem. *cough I've only admitted it to a few of you that I have seen. :embarassed: Don't knock it until you try it though. OK I may not enjoy driving "it" as I do with my Rallye or camper, but it's a nice little runner and does 45mpg so I can save cash too ! :afro:
