When I was talking to AMD a year or so ago, they reconed most GTi's had around 208 BHP straight out the box.  

....And when my GTI showed 197 bhp on AmD's rolling road a year or so ago they told me they reckoned most GTI's had around 197 bhp straight out the box - Draw your own conclusions. It's many years since AmD were considered one of the best.

Using 102 RON for everyday driving is a little exsesive in my book.

I've heard that the reputation of AmD have been going down hill, ever since they were bought out by BigBoysToys - so much so, that a couple of the founding members of AmD have left and started a new company.

That ^^^^ is the crucial bit.  You need a remap, specifically tailored for the 102 RON brew, in order to achieve those power increases.
