hello all im new to this site, as iv just purchased myself an h reg mk2 1.6 driver in need of some tlc, only payed 100 quid for it and it has had a lot of mechanical work just done to it, its even had a new weber carb fitted about 400 miles ago as i hear that they suffer with problems when there old, its needing some new panels especially the front slam panel as it is rotten, where is the best place to get this from??? is gsf any good or am i better going to vw???, my plans for the car are to strip it out and have it as a bit of a racer/trackday car with an engine transplant in the not to near future!!!!
