Went for 1st service and got me some free replacement alloys!!!!

Took my 06 GTI in for its first service today only £100 !

Best of all they are going to replace my 18 " Monza's under warranty !!

All i did was point out some ' white worms ' that were starting to develop and that was it booked in for 4 new alloys next week.

Got to say that the service has been spot on , just as good as the Audi dealer i had previous to the GTI.

Thanks VW - might even buy an R32 now !

that's wierd, i'd have thought they'd be better off just refurbing them! nae complaints tho am sure!

Maybe they will refurb and then pass them onto someone else ??

Thinking about it, they could have refurbished someone elses and be giving theirs to you

I dont think you can satisfactorily refurb the 18" monzas without painting them

It's well known that some (if not all eventually) Monza 2's suffer from this 'white worm' parasite.

You're very lucky to have a dealer replace them without badgering.

£100 is a fair price for a First Service

That'll be for the first fixed interval time & distance servicing at around 10k miles - basically an oil & filter change, and brake pad inspection.
