Just to add

Hi, just spoke to my sister, she had a bump a few months ago, rear end shunt whilst she was waiting to pull out, other party admitted liability so car went for repair at certified garage and loan car arrived, after a week no work had been done, after two weeks still no work been done, garage stated insurance not given go ahead yet, so loan car was taken away due to the two week period, so sis is without car for another 4 weeks, gets a call from insurers stating that wheels on car are not on the policy, you know the type those budget packages from your local motor factor, she tells insurance they been on a number on years so then they say she gotta pay extra for these wheels on the premium back dated to wheel purchase date before any work can be done on car! So, the wheels cost 350, the premium they wanted was 380 and the cost of the work was 1100. They held the car for ransom til the bill was paid. They would'nt even let the car be released due to not being insured correctly! as it was only a rear bumper repair

The company was direct line!!
So if you want hassle free claims - do it their way!!!

How can this be correct
