I've got Meguairs Lambswool; seems to be ok.  Serious Performance Wash mitts seem to get a good write up too.

There is loads of good advise here which i've taking on board, But as anyone got ideas about waxing my candy white gti, its a nightmare to see were and were not i've done?  :angry:

Try using a wax that has a coloured appearance, look up the Poor Boys range on eBay, they make excellent products and I think their wax has a pink tinge to it.

 :wink:  thanks for all the info on the washing & polishing i have just been to halfords to buy a new sponge to go with my nice new black(1 week old )2.0GT SPORT so i now think i will be returning to halfords for the wash mit also and use the sponge for the 18" alloys.
