nice motor
what products did you use to clean it with the car looks GLEEMIN pic 25

I used trafalgar Polish http://www.trafalgar.cc/trafalgar/polish.htm#  I got it from a valeting company in ashford, kent who supplied me with a litre for a fiver. Goes on so easy and comes off leaving no smears or dust, absolutely brilliant.

I live in Ashford, what company did you use Micalee?

I used Henwood Valeting Services, Unit 11, Highpoint Business Village, Henwood. When i got it polished there a while ago, it cost 50quid+vat for full exterior polish. They do wheels, tyres, arches everything and do a bloody good job. Leave it with them for 3hrs and jobs done. I spoke to Jamie who sold me the polish.

I know of them, and where their based, thanks for the info.

What is a "bleep"?  I know the other stuff as my brother used to be a Para (until he popped his kneecap real bad )

Mk 5 GTi, Tornado Red, Leather, Xenons, 18" Monza II's, Sunroof, 6CD in Armrest, Winter pack & Tinted Windows... soon to be adding ED30 front spoiler, plus R32 sideskirts... then getting fully colour coded!
New engine fitted when car was at 27k... last one went "noisey".

Thanks for that mate... and hope the time out there goes as well as can be hoped... dad is an ex-para and my youngest brother was one till he buggered his knee (he really misses the forces).

As for detailing... well, just waiting to fit an Ed30 front spoiler and get some R32 skirts fitted - then getting it all colour coded... once done I will probably get it professionally detailed and then just maintain it myself (spent a bit with cleanyourcar.co.uk who gave me really good service)... mind you, my car is at the dealers getting a new engine fitted.. latest news is that it will be ready next friday (that will be two weeks they will have had it for then!) so until then guess I just have to wait.

By the way Micalee... lovely car... if i had more spare cash i would be making you an offer!!!
