Vacuum tubing dose it make a differance?

Hello  all,Some of my small vacuum pipes are rottom with the engine running i can hear theres an air leak some where around the throttle valve housing.The pipes measure about 4.5-5.0 mm ,the largest diameater i can find locally is about 2-2.5 will this make any differance?

im not sure, i know some of them have to be a certain length. get some from vw its not expensive at all, and comes in metre lengths so is plenty there to redo all of them!
