Why cant i get the right wheel arch??? 8v PB '90 Big bumper!

I'm having trouble sourcing this wheel arch. The two i have had from GSF were too narrow and had a plastic locating lug that would stick into the wing. However there is no hole in the wing for it! It's 80mm deep at the top of the arch and fits solely with rivets.

It's driving me nuts as it spoils an otherwise... pretty nice looking car.

I know that you guys know every intimate detail of these golf's so any help would be much appreciated!!!

if its a VAG item it'll have a part number on it. if so then ring VAG and order a new one

D'you know what... just been out tidying the garage (my therapy) and found the old part. Saw the number and thought... i wonder how much that will cost!

Sometimes i can't see the wood for the trees!
