First things first, Hello everyone from a newbie. Picked up my White mk5 GTI yesterday and love it however i am missing the power of my revo chiped S3 (265bhp) Not sure long long i will be able to hold out untill fold to another revo chip? I'm wondring about the coumputer! is there 2 kinds? Its just that i've seen pics on this site of ones with much better graphics then mine. If there is a better one (highline??) can you retro fit it.

Highline refer to the screen between the speedo and the rev counter. Theres one there anyway but 'highline' gives you convenience options you can change like how the car locks and the brightness of the footwell lights amongst others.

Which computer are you talking about?

As you said the one between the speedo and rev counter. Is it possible to get the highline one retro fitted? Also would i be able to reprogram the central locking to open all the doors with one push through this? Thanks for your help.

I beleive it is possible but not sure on the complexities of it, Id talk to your dealer tbh. It does allow all the doors to be opened with one click as opposed to the infuriating way the drivers door only opens on the first click

Phoned dealer, highline can be retro fitted but the cost would involve me selling one of my kidneys. i'm taking it in tomorrow to have the central locking reprogramed to unlock all doors with one click.

think another guy on here tried it, fitted it but apparently you need to update the central convenience module too hence the need to sell several body parts!

best bet is to find a scapped Golf with the bits you need
