After my track day at Combe in the ED30 there was a guy going around who had picked up an M3 (Y reg) the year before for about 17k.  It had 100k on the clock but apart from a few minor scratches looked great, and went like stink! (although I reigned him in on the corners  )

My point being you may get a much better deal on an older well serviced car

fair point on the car....20k buys you en excellent m3 if you shop around.

as for the track skills you must be VERY good and he must be stevie wonder if you were pulling it back in the bends....

The way things are going Phil, I'm in two minds as to tell the BMW dealer to poke his test drive, as I've ask three times now for the price of the demo car I thought they were trying to sell me.
