My wife would like to be on the insurance, but as she's only been driving for 2 years, it was going to be a tad pricey.
SO... I checked with Direct Line which she insures her mini with, and for next year I'm looking at about 400 or so with her on it, if we have 2 cars in the household with them as you get a 10% discount.
Ironically VW insurance was more expensive than anybody listed on Confused.com.... at 1300 quid... I told the bloke it was all a bit embarrasing for them really....
