« on: 07 June 2007, 14:34 »
hey guys need a bit of advice , firstly sorry if i have posted this in the wrong thread.

basically got mk5 gti tornado red 07 plate.......i keep tellin the missus to reverse into spaces cos of the low profile front.

anyways she didint and kerbed the grey underside , you know below the registration plate anyways whats the best way to touch this up, you cant see it unless your 4 inches tall but its so annoying cos i know its there, do i fine sand the plastic underside to get rid of the scuffing then use something like back to grey to take the edge off it!!!!

not sure how you can clean that up BUT you might aswell follow the trend and get it (+ side skirts+ front lip spoiler) all colour coded. Costs around £200 - 300.

Nah, just leave it.

She'll only do it again, anyway.  Even worse, sods law dictates that if you do repair it, you'll be the next one to scrape it, and then SWMBO will have the last laugh at your expense.
