Ive sprung a leak on the main fuel line that runs from the filter to the front of the car. Is this a dealer only part? Is it all 1 peice front to back? How much for a replacement? 16v KR motor

Nothing from me other than the obvious scrappy. Nothing to say the same won't happen there though.

Surely that fuel line is pretty universal though? Maybe get one from a scrappy and take it somewhere to get the right length/shape.

IIRC the 16v K-Jet line is the same as the 8v line. The part shouldn't be obsolete - I bought one about 6 months ago! Its a single piece from the filter to the connecting link just out of the chassis leg. I tried to bodge one when mine broke - but the pressure is pretty high so it popped off and leaked frequently, I tried sourcing bits from elsewhere, but because of the connector on top of the fuel filter, the only way to go was OEM.

I would double check again mate, sounds like the dealers got their hoses crossed.

Ben are you sure have you tried different main dealers??? I bought this same fuel line about 4months ago.
If you have the part number I will phone my local dealer and see if he has got one..
