Sorry if i have put this question in the wrong place im still an newbie!!!
basically i have a 1997 golf mk3 1.8 driver.
and the problem is. when i first start the car after not using it for a good couple of hours. like going to cinema or in the morning. when i go to start it, the tick over is to low (2-3) so it conks out. so after holding my foot on the accelerator for a while and driving using my hand brake for braking in fear of the revs dropping

after say 15mins of this tricky driving it works fine and the tick over is at 10. where as when it first start its at like 2-3!!!! i took it to a garage and had it looked at, where they found that the the rubber block under the mono-point injector had broken, which would of made sense. so i replaced it and yet still the problem persistes
so if anyone has any idea that would be great thanks!
