Changing thing's just to visit a vw show....

let me start....
We booked our holiday and have just recieved the ticket's etc..when looking at the dates my wife has chosen I saw we fly back on vw festival day (19th Aug)... After many word's with the wife and the airline I have changed dates so we fly back on the 18th...to say she is not happy missing an extra day is an understatement  ....
I was just wondering how far you would all go so you don't miss a show....

I got my missus to let us cut short a weeks holidya in devon last year so that i could go to Edition 38. I had been planning to leave devon early sat morning, drive the 7 or so hours home (we were in convoy with a classic mini), drop her and the kids off then clean the rado and off to E38 (about an hours drive)!

Going to the Inters in June (Sunday) and "asked" the Missus if we could book the holiday Monday to Friday instead of all week so I could go . Here's the trade off.....I have to go to the Good Homes/Good Food/Gardener's World live show on Saturday..all day :embarassed:

Christ thats a big trade. Can't you chuck in the whole of E38 for that?

My holiday is in crimea (south of ukraine) where the weather's red hot and beer's about 40p a pint!!! there's only so much my liver can take     but at least i don't have to visit the good homes show (and the expense when you return home afterward's)

oh and did i forget good vodka's about £1 a litre (where's that wobbly/pissed smiley??)
