Roof rubber trim - MK2 16v
« on: 27 April 2007, 13:23 »
Hi all, I'm in the process of rebuilding a mk2 16v. How the hell do you replace the trim ( above the doors and down the front pillar) once you have removed it? ( got 2 16valves for spares) and I've tried on them, but I can't seem to do it!  Any help much appreciated, great site, thanks all.

start in the middle by the B pillar, then work forwards whacking it down as you go... then work backwards. whack with the heel of your hand. then fold the lower edge lip over and down.
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post
