the 16valver has an extra 35 horses under the bonnet for a start!!

Plus extra speed and acceleration!!!

So although i have never driven an 8valver i guess the answer to your question is yes :)

Cheers mrwotto, i will consider 16v because insurance isn't much more expensive than 8v, but it depends on how much I can get for my car !
