The names Rob I'm from the midlands.
I plan to buy my first golf very soon I have a budget of £2000 should I go with a mk2 or 3 ?

hello and welcome , mk2 or mk3 i think it all depends on what you want from the car. imo i`d choose the mk2. but good luck in your search

as for mark 2 or mark 3, well I have had 4 mark 2's and 2 mark 3's, once of each I still have. I would go for the mark 2 if you want a proper drivers car.
