hi
it dont matter how i drive round town fast/slow high/low revs stil cant eva get above 26MPG
but on a long motorway run i can get up 42MPG. but gonna try not hitting boost see if tht wil make a diff.

how the f**k can i only get 200 miles on a full tank £40 ??

I usually drive quite swiftly & get between 220-250 to a tank (approx 24 mpg).  I'd say there was a def prob with yours, as if I drive like a granddad, I can get 35-40 MPG.

It could perhaps be your exhaust or cat??

I got 50 miles to half a tank, once, when my old Pug 306 had a leaking exhaust.

i hate not being mechanically minded, cause i dont have a clue how to check these things. id have to put it into a garage and they would prob rip the arse !

Not teaching you to suck eggs mate but have you had it serviced recently ,tyre pressures  etc

it was serviced about 5000 miles ago its on 103k what sort of intervals should i be doing on services at the miles its at and am i right in saying i should use semi synthetic rather than fully synthetic due to the high ish miles?
