Just bought a 93' Golf...

Probably a ridiculous question.. anyways. I bought a 93' Golf on Sunday and was wondering does it have Power Steering?  It felt like it didn't, but i was wondering if it could be something else? power steering fluid? i dont know much about this car yet. It is a 1.4. i have checked and others seems to have PAS, (diesel, 1.8 etc)

not sure, my neice had a M reg 1.4 match and that didn't have power steering, it was bloody heavy aswell

hows about looking in the engine bay for a power steering fluid reservoir, should be either red or green cap? just a thought, andy

mine's a 93 1.4 and doesnt have it. doubt it would have tbh

yea it doesn't. thanks anyway. was just wondering because like i said others had it(1.8 etc)

Yeh, has leccy windows too. I assume these were factory optional extras?
