In case any of you are after a top VW dealer in or around West Sussex, pop down to Sidlow's in Horsham. Their customer service far outstripped that of their counter parts in Crawley or Caffyns in Haywards Heath. It was the third garage I had visited in my quest for a GTi, and the first I have ever popped into and been on a test drive inside 10 mins - no patronising banter, form filling or demeaning looks from salesman, just be sure to ask for Dan Buckland. He's fairly new but his service and approach is top notch - so much so I bought my GTi from him despite not originally intending to buy for another month and despite the extra mileage to get to the dealer compared to the local Crawley branch (who suggested I return in the future when i was ready to order instead of driving one now).
