my first rust patch . . . gutted

Washed the car the other day, found a little rust patch under one of the back doors  gutted! I thought it rust free Oh dear how sad, what have I become!

i hate rust soo much i thought mine was quite clean of rust apart from a big ass dent that was it, but on closer inspecting i found rust under the drivers side front windscreen rubber.

lol my mk1 has it in the same place, going to cost 150 to get the screen out and sort the rust! grrrrrrrrrr

I know how you feel mate my mk2 has a couple of little spots here and there ( 3 like 5p sized bubbles) then I got underneath it last week and found the bottom of the front drivers wing where it meets the front panel is crumbling  :embarassed: but still you cant see it and all the metal that joins is totally solid so I wax oiled it and prayed, lol.
