If i was to keep the Mk3 1.8T.... how much?
« on: 12 February 2007, 18:26 »
My head is soooo screwed up at the moment, i dont know what to do! HELP!!!

If i was to keep the blue Mk3, it would need the following done to it.
If anyone can give me an estimate on how much this might cost that would be great.
If i can get it on the road, i can sell the other 2 Golfs i have or even pay someone to fix mine for 1 of the cars??

Here's a rundown on what needs doing and what has been done.

The engine is a 2001 AUM 150bhp drive by wire, which runs on Seat managment. AUQ (180bhp, ECU, clocks and key)

The engine and downpipe is in place, and has been running. although it missfires and 3 out of 4 coilpacks have been changed.

The Seat clocks have been hidden behind the dash as its only use is for the immobiliser, the buzzer has been dissabled too.
The IC has been mounted and custom pipework has been made to it, although the IC is very low and i would like it raised. (cut into cross member)

All other items ie; water bottle, carbon filter, need to have brackets made and to be fitted. ECU is loose in the wiper motor well, and will need a platformed bracket.
It may also have a damaged multiplug? (not sure)

All i want is for my car to be drivable and reliable, i am in no hurry what so ever. I need a price based on the information i have given.

thank you, GJ
