Its because they were sitting against the bolts that the standard seats clip to at the top.
They are actually a really good fit dimension wise, its just all all the mounting points are different, I think I'm prolly gonna have to take an angle grinder to a leon to get the brackets off to make fitting them easier, and then just weld the brackets in my car in the correct position.
I'm actually having a tough time deciding whether to do it or not as they are quite a bit heavier than the standard seats and i don't really want to affect the performance.
