Punto GT Turbo owner fallen in love with mk2

Hi Guys,

not been on for a while..... (did a few 'shop on a mk4 golf in my dub gallery) anyway....

i think i have fallen in love with the mk2 golf...... and i think i want one lol

now i'm an utter newbie when it comes to golfs, but from what i understand i want a '90 spec bigbumper golf with pas and ew..... do the gtis have discs all round and if so is this abs???

sorry for the newbie questions.... not to arsed about speed.... as long as it looks mean.... would like a dark colour pref grey

i've seen them go for £400.00-£5000.00 lol but i like the single lights grill and the bbs 14" tis nice...

Welcome bud, shame about your car, nah only kidding looks good for a Punto, i bet that shifts! erm yeah you will get a nice golf for 1500, maybe less depends how much you want to spend, its hard to find mint ones now. No mark 2s came with abs as far as i know although they do have discs all round on the gtis etc. The laer ones generally had leccy windows and pas, not all 8 valves though. Yes they can look mean for a square box! hope this helps

I think some came with abs. I know of one that has traction control

GTi's have disks all round.

Drive an 8v and a 16v then decide on which one you like the best.

Thats a smart punto there bud. How much was it??? Also how old are you and whats the insurance like for that punto GT???
