New exhaust from germany!!!! Is it too risky???
« on: 26 January 2007, 12:22 »
I need to replace my exhaust and have foung this on ebay germany...What's people's thought's of buying from abroad thing's like this???

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230081662688&rd=1&rd=1

This comes in at £70 including delivery or full stainless for £85 (which is much cheaper than the uk) and I have found a standard middle box for £32 with delivery (again much cheaper)

i kno loads of people who have bought stuff from germany with no problems, 1 mate even bought 5 wheels from some guy in germany and all was fine.

i think its only as big a risk as buying anythin else on ebay, the main problem comes with communicating if things go pete tong.

you say full stainless for £85... is that a full system, or just a back box, cause volksbits are doing stainless back boxes for £99, but then i dont kno wat (if anything) the delivery is.

I still see there is a distinct lack of b!tch tit getting outage.

If its brand name off ebay I tend to trust it.

Bought stuff from Germany before and never had a problem.

Good thing is he takes Paypal. I paid for something by bank transfer once, the banks f****d it up completely and it took about 2 weeks to sort out with emails / phonecalls to Germany.

He's sold over 7000 things as well and got 99% +ve which means he must be doing something right.

Can always contact to make sure it all fits before you buy, exhaust looks nice BTW
