Hi GTi guys and gals.....I'm totally new to the whole golf GTi experience so i thought I'd take it slow and apply to race in the 750motor club 2008 Golf GTI mk2 championship! Now at the moment I've owned 0 Golf GTi's, I've driven 0 Golf GTi's and have 0 money........
Hence why I'm applying for the 2008 season and not 2007. So I might need a little bit of help from the experts! you may ask why I'm doing this......good question. well I'm just about to go travelling...and hence selling my boring French box. When i get back I'm going to buy a Mk2 16v GTi and see if you really can go racing for very little money!!! Hopefully what i learn juring my experience may help other people wanting to go low cost racing...or at least give you a good laugh as it all goes tits up! So anyone who would like to hear about what happens...or can offer any help on sourcing parts and tuning a 16v engine...give me shout or point me in the right direction....
