Security on Golfs

Deliberately set my alarm off - after the dealer said it was an immobiliser only. Just had to prove to myself it had one!

I also have no idea where my locking wheel nut is...assuming locking wheel nuts come as standard on the 18"s!!!

Thought I`d try the alarm after reading this..........so locked meself in, and threw my (not inconsiderable  ) weight around.

The alarm went off - eventually. But I had to grab hold of the steering wheel and really thrash around before it went off. Hopefully, no-one saw  :embarassed:

Can this be right ??

Thanks Phil - I think I have only opened the boot once in the last fortnight of ownership...and opened the bonnet NEVER! I really should learn how you open the bonnet...
