Help me please

I have had a bit of a miss fire on the golf and now it wont start  :cry:
I have fitted new rotor arm and cap / spark plugs but still no joy.

Are you hearing the fuel pump when you switch on the ignition?

I turned it over for about 10 mins and to started.
Is there a cold start ?

i assume you fitted teh plug leads back on in the correct order??

Did you fit the correct spark plugs?

My neighbour changed his once with some from Halfords and they had listed the wrong ones for his car in their little flip chart  :rolleyes:

His car just about ran on them but he couldn't drive it...

is it an 8v, if so replace the blue temp sender :)

The spark plugs are the 3 prong ones so cant adjust.
I fitted a new blue sensor for its MOT about 3 weeks ago but I did get it from GSF car parts  :rolleyes:

ah that could be the problem, the gsf ones are crap! VW will charge you £13 for one :)
