Any good bluetooth kit will fit the Golf. See the Docs DIY Nokia guide at the top of the forum index - sticky.

Oh My God! I've just seen the Docs (simple) instructions on how to fit a bluetooth to my gti.Given that I'm not overly keen on prising the dash off on my new gti (Whenever it turns up - just been told by VW Wigan that production is frozen at week 6) can anyonr recommend a good VW auto electrician who could fit a Bluetooth kit for my nokia n90 in the St Helens area?

Cheers

Chris

P.s to the Doc the instructions where very good its just that I'd probably wet myself even trying to do it

Why not ask The Doc to help out, he's not too far away and looks like he needs some extra cash

From my own experience I'd say avoid the Parrot system, I'm very dissapointed with it. You could end up  as a parrot [groan].

I wouldn't agree with the comment on the Parott system, I have the ck3100 and it works a treat with my Nokia 6230i, no probs.  clear, easy to use and worth every penny, especially as it was cheaper than the Nokia ones and works with more phones.

Thanks doc, damn I've just ordered the nokia bluetooth kit off ebay (CK-7W) but I think I will take you up on the fitting (That is when the GTI arrives) I've been told mine is stuck on week 6  they should find out early this week with a delivery date but its looking like early march. doc send me an email with your details and I'll ring you when it arrives ok? P.s You might know this Ive ordered the steering wheel with radio controlls option do I also need to order the telephone prep as the salesman at VW wigan seems to think that it comes with the steering wheel. I,ve told him to find out as I dont want to get the thing only to find I cant get my Nokia n80 working when I pick it up

Cheers
