An automatic gearbox in a manual golf?

aight I was wondering if anyone could help i'm looking at buying a mk2 golf driver, however its a manual, is it feasible and relativly easy to fit the auto box out of my other golf into the mk2 driver if anyone could shed some light on this asap cheers

I've gone the other way without too many problems. As long as you have the donor car for all your parts then its just a little more than a gearbox change (linkage, clutch cable/pedal, trim etc.)
